2010
The Start
In 2010 a group of 28 scouts and leaders set off for Jinja in Uganda, where they were based at BP Training Ground and Camp Site.

The idea was to build a school, but also teach those in Jinja how to build themselves, starting with how to make bricks.

The land to be used was donated by the Anglican Church who, to this day, remain invested in the school that has been built

2016
Returning
In 2016 the scouts returned, adding to the work already achieved.

Along with hundreds of books being donated, the scouts also added guttering and a huge water butt to the school which has allowed them to harvest rain water to aid the growth of crops.

On their return the scouts noticed the School had a fence erected around it. It was later discovered that the school is now held in such high regard, and with such importance, that it was decided to add a fence to highlight its importance.

2022
Building for the future
In 2022 the Scouts will be returning with a new building project in mind.

2022 will see the building of a dormitory, from scratch, to allow the school to continue growing.

There will also be skills being passed between the scouts and locals to pass knowledge between both sides
